SAA- Best Marketing Campaign
For three years I led the Marketing for design-led serviced apartment agency Cuckooz, where my role was incredibly varied - marrying a multi-faceted digital marketing strategy with my own personal illustration and in-house design, artworking, interior styling, interior design, and video and art direction.
Working with the start-up brand from day dot provided me with valuable insight to consumer behaviour and I was able to directly impact the brand development through a hands on end-to-end marketing approach.
Here I have provided some examples of my branding and design work, including web and print design, video direction and styling.
Case Study:
The Zed Rooms
The Zed Rooms project took place over a 9 month period from initial conceptualisation to product launch in early December 2018. The digital and influencer campaigns continued over a year long period throughout the course of 2019.
Working collaboratively with industry leaders and pre-existing partner Simba, we utilised our existing FFE contract with Conran and partnered with experiential designers Studio Stilton to create a stunning, design-led concept for the apartments.
Coverage reached 3.47m readers in print and 7.37bn users online, with hits on high circulation outlets like the Mail Online, BBC, Telegraph, GQ, Metro, Mirror, The Sun and The Times.
In terms of metrics, the campaign earned us a 270.36% increase on website users, 276.2% increase on sessions, a 17% increase across social following and a 27.4% increase on sales as a result of direct bookings, with a 34% increase on ADR (in comparison to other units of this category in our portfolio).
Our Influencer campaign took off to a great deal of success in the one month following the launch, with a reach of over 169,827 individuals and 8,288 likes, comments and shares.
The project won Best Marketing Campaign at the SAA awards.
